I almost forgot Wildlife Wednesday this week!! So glad I remembered before the day was done…phew.
I realize I’ve already shown you pictures from my Christmas tree cutting-down adventures with my family, but I had to share my Boston Christmas tree as well!
I have a hard time believing this video is real because I have a hard time believing space is real. Truth. I sometimes don’t believe in space or whales. Both are too gigantic to exist. How can it be??????
I am probably going to have to take a whale to space with me in order to truly grasp how the universe works.
****UPDATE****
Mike just sent me this picture, so I guess whales and space are, in fact, real.
PS- If you haven’t seen it yet, here is Marcel the Shell 2. Laughed until I cried.
It may not be a typical Wildlife Wednesday, but I had to share this video. I’ve watched it approximately 75 times since my friend Kate posted it on Facebook yesterday. Makes me want to pack up and move to New York and never look back!
Here are this year’s crop of roomie + Mike’s jack-o-lanterns: a cupcake, Cornell bear and/or Simba, an owl, and a witch! Can you guess who made the cupcake?
Last weekend Mike and I went apple picking at Honey Pot Hill in Stow, MA. Despite the dreary day, we managed to pick a bushel* of apples and brought them home to make apple crisp!
*Not entirely sure how much a bushel is, but if a bushel = heavy than that’s how many we picked.
